Son Kuma is a songwriter, producer, and recording artist from Inglewood, CA whose work blurs the line between emotional storytelling and intellectual rigor. He began making music in 2017, where he transformed heartbreak and drug abuse into Indica — a debut mixtape that has since amassed over 15 million streams.His follow-up mixtape, Sativa, and performance opening for multi-platinum band Glass Animals marked his arrival as a full-fledged artist. He took a leave of absence from university to compose his debut album, Good For Life which arrived on the summer solstice of 2021.After earning a degree in Mathematical Physics from Stanford University and surviving a near-fatal car accident, Kuma returned with What Goes Around... in 2024, a cinematic, introspective album about cycles of love and consequence.Now he’s channeling frustration, purpose, and resilience into his next project: Keep That Energy
